Questions and Answers
A traveling art gallery is different than galleries many artists are accustomed to, therefore we understand and welcome any questions. Below are a few common questions asked by artists regarding Gulf Coast Traveling Art Stars League policy and procedures.
Question:
Do artists have to travel with the gallery to Partner Apartment Locations?
Answer:
No. Artist are not required to travel to Partner Apartment Community Locations. However, if artist want to make an appearance to meet and greet residents viewing art at the gallery.
Question:
Once my art is sold, how do my funds get to me?
Answer:
Artist will choose a payment method. Artist will inform GTASL to send payments from art sales through the following methods: PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, ACH or check. Checks will be mailed to artists.
Question:
Where do artists drop off and pick up their art pieces?
Answer:
Currently, drop off and pickup location is in Bacliff, Texas at the home of the Founder. However, satalite drop off location will be established in local park/community centers. GTASL is in the process of researching then leasing a stand-alone building to serve as office/gallery where drop off and pick ups will happen.
Question:
How is my art secured at the apartment complex overnight?
Answer:
Artist's artwork is never left at the apartment location unattended or overnight. GTASL gallery curators or team members remove all artists work from apartment at end of the day. Then the next day curator will place art into place for the day. Then repeat for as many days as gallery is at apartment location. Artwork is secured in art carrying cases for protection during all movement.
